The Difference Between A Now and Later Appointment
Scheduling a Customer Appointment
There are two ways to schedule a Customer Appointment:
- Scheduling a Now Appointment
- Scheduling a Later Appointment
What Is a Now Appointment?
A Now Appointment is used when an appointment needs to be scheduled for the current date and time.
When you create a new appointment, Now is selected by default. If you would like to schedule the appointment for a future date or time, select Later instead.
Complete the required information based on the customer's appointment.
What Is a Later Appointment?
A Later Appointment is used to schedule an appointment for a future date and time. You can schedule it for another day, week, or month.
When you select Later, you will have the following additional options:
- Assign a Staff Member: You can assign the appointment to a specific staff member. This option is not available when scheduling a Now Appointment.
- Select a Date: You can choose any future date for the appointment.
- Set Start and End Times: You can specify the exact start and end time for the appointment.
This allows you to schedule customer appointments in advance based on your requirements.
To define the difference between a Now and Later Appointment, Scheduled will be written against the booked appointment.
You can also Mark as Done the Appointment, once your Appointment has been completed.
