Scheduling a Lead Call
There are two ways to schedule a call with a lead:
- Now Call – Schedule the call immediately.
- Later Call – Schedule the call for a future date and time.
What Is a Now Call?
A Now Call is used when a lead needs to be contacted immediately. The call is scheduled based on the merchant's current requirements, allowing staff members to follow up with the lead right away.
When scheduling a Now Call, the call is booked using the current date and time.
What Is a Later Call?
A Later Call is used when you want to schedule a call for a future date and time. You can schedule it for tomorrow or any other future date based on your requirements.
When scheduling a Later Call, you have additional options that are not available for a Now Call:
- Assign a Staff Member
You can assign the call to a specific staff member. This option is not available when scheduling a Now Call. - Select a Start and End Time
You can specify the exact time period for the call. These options are only available when Later is selected. - Select a Future Date
You can choose a date other than today. With a Now Call, the date cannot be changed because the call is scheduled immediately.
How to Identify a Later Call
A Later Call can be easily identified by the “Scheduled” label displayed in brackets next to the call title.
For example:
Follow-Up Call (Scheduled)
This helps other staff members quickly identify that the call has been scheduled for a future date and/or time.
